What is the Art of Self Mastery?
When you feel master of yourself you start to develop your own self awareness which can lead to increased confidence and self-esteem.  It’s a natural confidence that is different from one of arrogance.  You start learning to trust yourself and your natural instincts, you feel empowered in any given situation.  You can learn that there aren’t any good or bad experiences, it’s just how you view and react to them.  You start to hear your intuition and inner guidance, and have the courage to act on it.

Being master of your own life can help you to have the ability to easily say ‘no’ when you want to.  Help you to communicate with others in a clear way.  By your own developed awareness you can be free from judgement of yourself and in turn judgements of other people, you see and understand both sides of the coin.  You can see and understand that it’s ok to take time out to enjoy yourself, whilst letting go of the feelings of guilt.

You can start to realise that you do have a choice and you can be in control.  You start to become aware of your mind chatter and have the ability to question it, you may look at the ‘mundane’ and allow yourself to think outside the box, be free in your creativity.

What will the sessions entail?                                                                                        Using therapeutic techniques (see ‘What’s In My Tool Bag’), large doses of common sense and humour, we will look at and investigate the thoughts, feelings, and internal barriers that may be holding you back. Teaching you and helping you to look at ways that you can live more in the present moment, letting go of any past fears or emotions and also any fears of the future.  Looking to release any trapped emotions, pain or perceptions gained from previous events.

I may also suggest books you may find interesting and that suits your individuality.  I will also share with you some exercises that you can do for yourself that will help you regain your own power and control, get to know yourself, letting go of the irrational emotion and thoughts that are detrimental to who you are. Taking control of your life and allowing yourself to move forward can feel amazingly empowering….how about doing something just for you….

 Sessions are priced at:

 £45.00 for an hour session

 £35.00 – these are hour sessions but take place distantly and are conducted via the phone. Great for people outside the Bristol area!
